Active Electrical Suppliers and Schneider Electric “CATCH OF THE DAY” promotion terms and conditions
Promotion Overview
The Active Electrical Suppliers (AES) are the Promotors and, thus, the operator of this promotion.
The Active Electrical Suppliers (AES) and Schneider Electric “Catch of the Day” promotion commences 1 st
May 2024 and closes 31 st August 2024. This is the “Promotional Period”
The promotion is only available to AES account holders who have a current trading account that meets
AES’s trading agreements. Entry into this promotion is considered automatic unless the account holder opts
out for any reason. Any participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Major Prize Draw
The major price draw promotion and a chance to win one of three SeaDoo Fish Pro 170 (2023) plus trailer with an RRP value of $34000. It is not transferable, changeable, or redeemable for cash.
For every $1000,00 (excl GST) spent on Schneider Electric and PDL electrical products (in-store or online) during the promotional period, the account holder will automatically receive one entry into the major prize draw.
The major prize draws will be held on September 30th 2024 under supervision, and the winners will be notified by phone call and follow-up email from a director of AES.
Once the major prize is awarded, AES or the associated SeaDoo supplier is not liable for any part of the prize that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged, or tampered with in any way.
In addition to the major prize draw, the promotion offers various levels of rewards in the form of Hunting and Fishing (NZ) (H&FNZ) vouchers. These vouchers are based on the purchase value (excluding GST) of any Schneider Electric and PDL Electrical products purchased by AES account holders during the Promotional Period.
The single invoice purchase value and the associated value of the H&FNZ vouchers are set out in the table below.
Note: A higher voucher value is provided for purchases made online via our website online trading system.
- The Purchase Value only relates to purchases of Schneider Electric and PDL branded products purchased by AES account holders on a current AES account.
- The Purchase Value is the value of Schneider Electric and PDL product purchases achieved on each single invoice during each calendar month during the promotional period.

During the promotional period, all credits issued against purchases will be deducted from the purchase level qualifying dollar totals.

H&FNZ Voucher Distribution
The H&FNZ vouchers will be sent to the qualifying account holders by the AES branch holding the primary customer account. Thirty working days should be allowed after the end of each month for preparation and distribution of the vouchers.
The H&FNZ vouchers will not be made available, sent, or distributed to any account holders' staff, employees or nominated persons, even if requested by the account holder.
The H&FNZ vouchers are redeemable at any Hunting and Fishing store in NZ.
General terms and conditions
In the event that the prizes become unavailable for any reason beyond AES’s control, AES may, in its sole discretion, decide to provide an alternative prize.
AES reserves the right to disallow entries at its absolute discretion if the directors feel that the promotion’s qualifying criteria have not been met or that persons associated with the promotion have taken any nefarious actions.
AES may need to share entrant information, including name and contact details, with other persons or entities that assist in running the promotion.
All decisions made by AES, its employees, or agents are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
AES may amend, suspend, or cancel any aspect of the promotion (including any prize/gift) at any time at its sole discretion.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, AES (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under AES control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected; (d) any variation in the prize; any tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
As a condition of participating in the promotion, the entrants indemnify the Promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with the promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees on a solicitor and client basis) which an entrant may incur arising out of their participation in the promotion and/or the travel and tour associated with it, howsoever caused.
