Chorus approved fibre waste management

If you work with fibre, you must separate fibre waste from all other waste. If you splice fibre, you should already have a Fibre Can for cleaver off-cuts. Don’t empty it into the fibre waste management bin. Close the lid and dispose of it in the bin. The Fibre Bucket is for larger fibre waste including some that need to be cut down to fit e.g. excess length ABFU, pigtails, fibre cord, pieces of loose tube or other fibre cable offcuts. It can be emptied into the fibre waste management bin and continued to be used.
